This no annual fee card comes with a nice sign up bonus and rewards rate for your everyday purchases. Earn 10,000 American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles and receive a $50 statement credit after making $500 in purchases within the first 3 months of account opening. In addition to these generous rewards, cardholders can save 25% on inflight food and beverage purchases when you use your card on American Airlines flights. The ongoing APR with this card is 15.99% - 24.99% (Variable) and there is a foreign transaction fee of 3%, so we don't recommend carrying a balance or using this card overseas.
If you're a frequent traveler with American Airlines, this card can help you boost your mileage account with every purchase and you won't have to pay an annual fee.
The bonus miles on groceries can be a nice way to earn rewards faster. Plus, the 25% savings on inflight food and beverage purchases can go a long way if you're a frequent flyer.
The sign up bonus is relatively small compared to other airlines credit cards, but that's not unusually considering there is no annual fee.
